RDC Server Upgrade Instructions

To upgrade RDC Server:

1. Using Windows Services (Task Manager → Services), stop the RDC Server Services for the hosting machine.
2. In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\Telex.
3. Copy the folder named RDC Server.
4. Paste the folder to the desktop.
   This is a backup of the previous system.
5. Download the current version of RDC Server.
6. Browse to and double-click the downloaded file.
   The executable first uninstalls the older version, and then prompts to proceed with the installation of the new version.
7. Click OK.
   The uninstall begins.
8. When the uninstall is done, click Close.
   The License Agreement screen appears.
9. Click I Agree when prompted.
10. Click Next when prompted.
    The installation starts.
    
11. Towards the end of the installation, a pop-up window appears asking if you wish to run the RDC Server as a service.
12. Once the install is complete, a web browser appears with the RDC Administration screen.
13. Log into your system.
14. Verify the latest version is running.
